High School Summer Staff
Build leadership skills and invest in the lives of children.
Tilikum’s High School Summer Staff work alongside College Summer Staff as Day Camp counselors during the busiest weeks of the summer. Guys and girls between the ages of 16 to 18 are trained in May and then work 5-8 weeks during the summer. High School Summer Staff are essential in providing support to the college staff with a small group of campers.

Important Dates:
Application opens March 1, 2024- Applications due by May 7, 2024
- High School Summer Staff training is May 18 & June 6th, 2024
- Lifeguard training is May 24 – 27, 2024
- Summer Camp Camp – Monday to Friday, June 10th until August 2nd, 2024.
High School Summer Staff are expected to commit to at least 5 weeks of camp throughout the summer for a stipend of $300 per week. The High School Lifeguard salary is $400 week. Work days are Monday – Friday 7:30AM-5:00PM. All staff members must have consistent, reliable transportation to and from Camp.
