Mother and Daughter Weekend

May 6-8, 2022

Tilikum offers programs that emphasize times of spiritual and relational renewal, exploring creation, building community, encountering God and transforming lives. Whether exploring the grounds during a nature hike, or racing up the Climbing Wall together, the setting, the people, and the presence of God create an ideal opportunity to experience life side by side. Mothers and daughters (entering 1st grade and up) are invited to retreat together in a relaxing, country setting. Highlights include three fun-filled days of laughter, fun activities and great Bible teaching, all in a spectacular setting surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. Best of all, the memories made during this very special weekend will last forever! The weekend price includes lodging for two nights, five meals and all program activities.

Speaker – Gina Kluver

Hi, my name is Gina. Who am I?  Well, honestly, first and foremost, I am a child of the Living God. More than what I do, who I am, and what I invest my time in, I am His child.  My life is centered around that fact. I like to say that I have a big mouth for God, in that, I LOVE to share God stories. You know, those things that happen in life that only God could have orchestrated. Also, I just really love people. I am ‘that’ person who talks with pretty much anyone around. Social, outgoing, yeah, that is me….the more people I know, the better!  I love listening to others and hearing their stories and offering encouragement and truth where I can.

I believe that God has given each person a unique set of traits, talents, and passions and it’s so cool that we are all different in that sense.  God has given me a love for adventure and travel, creativity, fun, and yes, a love for people!

I love spending time with my family. My husband and I have been married for twelve years. We truly love living life together. We have two adorable and rather hilarious children, a boy and a girl. I am currently homeschooling them and they teach me more about myself every day. They also mirror my goofy personality. I also serve as a mentor for the George Fox Bridge Network Program and lead a homeschool group at our church in Newberg. I used to be a teacher, coach, and athlete-all things that I love- and all things that are in God’s hands.

I believe we are meant for community and all have a story to share. I love sharing what God places on my heart in hopes that it will make a difference in the lives of others. Blessings! Gina

Worship Leader – Eva Flores Estrada

Eva grew up in the Aurora, Oregon area and has been involved with the worship ministry in her home church since she was nine, and considers it a joy to be able to use music to praise the Lord.

She currently works as a bookkeeper for The Canby Center non-profit in Canby, Oregon, and is on the board of directors for the West Coast Menonite Central Committee (WCMCC). She also enjoys working with youth and young adults, but overall simply loves serving God and others in any ways she can.
