Mother and Daughter Weekend
May 10-12, 2024
Tilikum offers programs that emphasize times of spiritual and relational renewal, exploring creation, building community, encountering God and transforming lives. Whether exploring the grounds during a nature hike, or racing up the Climbing Wall together, the setting, the people, and the presence of God create an ideal opportunity to experience life side by side. Mothers and daughters (entering 1st grade and up) are invited to retreat together in a relaxing, country setting. Highlights include three fun-filled days of laughter, fun activities and great Bible teaching, all in a spectacular setting surrounded by God’s beautiful creation. Best of all, the memories made during this very special weekend will last forever! The weekend price includes lodging for two nights, five meals and all program activities.

Program
Speaker – Beth Banham
Beth Banham is a lover of potato chips, twinkies, hearing life stories, and Jesus, but her passion is to see the body of Christ know each other and love each other. Beth was born in Ethiopia to missionary parents, but quickly learned to love flush toilets and bathtubs upon returning to The States. Beth and her husband Dan helped to plant City’s Edge Community Church in 1996, and have been pastoring it now for about 25 years. They have been married nearly 30 years and have one son in his mid 20s. Beth is a certified speaker and coach, and member of the John Maxwell Team. She provides training to churches to encourage authentic community in their congregations. She also provides coaching to individuals to help them “brave the wilds” of their life, career and relationships. She hopes to help you and your church “Brave what you’re designed for.” For more about Beth and her speaking and coaching opportunities, visit bethbanham.com.
Worship Leader – Eva Flores Estrada
I grew up in Oregon and have dedicated much of my life to worship ministry from the age of 8. I am currently part of a Salem-based worship band called Cherry City Worship as well as serving at my home church. I find such joy in serving and being able to use the gifts God has given me to bless others and worship Him. I work at a faith-based non-profit in Canby as a bookkeeper and am also serving as Moderator for the Council of Hispanic Anabaptists, Churches of the Northwest in my Conference. I’m thankful for any opportunity to serve and look forward to seeing the Lord move!

Cost for Family Weekends
Realizing that families have different abilities to pay, Tilikum has instituted a three-tier fee program. By choosing to pay the full cost, Tilikum is able to offer financial assistance to families that need it. Please select the appropriate tier at the time of registration.
Scholarships are available for those who qualify. [VIEW/DOWNLOAD]
