High Adventure Camp

Overnight Summer Camp program for youth entering 9th – 12th grades.

High Adventure Camp 2022 has been cancelled due to COVID.

In order to ensure the safety of the community and Tilikum staff during COVID, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel overnight camps. We hope to see you next year for an exciting 2023 Summer season.

Learn the ropes and ask tough questions

Tilikum’s Adventure Camp Program is all about learning new life skills while creating and strengthening lifelong friendships. Campers learn effective relationship and problem solving skills through good communication on Tilikum’s low- and high-element challenge course. Led by trained facilitators, campers learn about their strengths and how to use them within a group setting. Tilikum’s college age staff love to listen and gently direct campers to find their place in God’s story. At Adventure Camp, campers have time each day to ponder what God is saying to them. High Adventure campers have extended time in God’s creation, and nightly campfire worship sessions.

High Adventure Camp activities can include:

  • time out in God’s creation
  • making new friends
  • learning to work as a team
  • developing leadership skills
  • swimming and canoeing
  • archery
  • scripture and worship

High Adventure Camp Summer schedule

High Adventure overnight camps generally run one or two weeks, Monday-Thursday, during the summer season. Check back January 15 for a schedule.

Cost for High Adventure Camp

High Adventure Camp has been cancelled for the 2022 Summer Season due to COVID.

Realizing families have differing abilities to pay, Tilikum offers a three-tier pricing structure. Tiered pricing is intended to help families recognize the full cost of Camp and then select the level most suitable for their family circumstances. By choosing to pay the full cost of Camp, Tilikum is able to offer financial assistance to families that need it.

For information on group pricing email Rommie Christiansen/Camp Program Director, or call Rommie at (503) 538-2763 ext. 106.
