Tilikum Trail Run and Family Fun Day

Thank you for making the Tilikum Trail Run a huge success! Your registration fees help to ensure every child has the opportunity to go to Summer Camp. Race results are available at the bottom of the page. We look forward to seeing you there!

The course

The race course begins in the field next to the historic 1909 Valley View Schoolhouse and includes gravel and paved roadways, grassy fields, a wood foot bridge, forested paths and challenging hillsides. 5k participants will make three loops around Tilikum Lake.

Adults: 5K Run or 1 Mile Walk
Youth: 5K Run or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk

Race Day schedule and information

  9:00AM9:45AM – check-in (registration for those who have not pre-registered)
10:00AM – Tilikum Trail Run begins
11:00AM – awards ceremony
11:15AM – lunch, $5 per person and will include barbecue pulled pork, delicious side dishes and homemade cookies.
  1:30AM – post-race activities including waterfront activities and other scheduled activities
  1:00PM – close of activities

What to bring

  • money for BBQ lunch ($5/person) or bring your own picnic lunch
  • appropriate clothing for waterfront and other activities
  • sunscreen

Parking is limited so carpooling is appreciated.

Personal items
A basket will be available for your keys.

Can I bring a jogging stroller?
Yes! Jogging strollers are welcome on the trail.

Can I bring my dog?
No, the Trail Run is not set-up to accommodate pets.

Cost for Run participants

Online registration is currently closed.
Updated Information for the 2019 Trail Run will be posted Spring 2019. Please check back.

Trail Runner cost is $45 for adults and $25 for youth, with kids 5 & under free.
Visa, MasterCard, check or cash are accepted.

BBQ picnic lunch ($5 per person the day of the Run)

Download, complete, and print your Registration and Liability Release and bring it to race day check-in to make your check-in quicker and to receive your Trail Run t-shirt. Shirts cannot be provided for race day registrants as they are ordered three weeks in advance to keep costs low and provide as much possible funding for the Summer Camp Scholarship Fund. Registration fees are non-refundable.

Race Day check-in

Race Day check-in (for those who pre-registered online) and registration (those who did not pre-register online) begins at 9:00AM – 9:45AM. Register online at least three weeks prior to race day to receive your Trail Run t-shirts when you check-in—there will be no t-shirts for race day registrants.


Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers per division and gender.

Post-race afternoon activities

Participants and their families are invited to stay and enjoy the beautiful grounds and fun camp activities including a BBQ picnic lunch ($5 per person), archery, swimming, canoeing, fishing, barn animals, relaxing on the lakeside patio, and the Big Swing!
