Slide40Friends of Tilikum

The term “Tilikum” comes from the Chinook trade language and means “my friend or my people”. We are so thankful for God’s provision and the thousands of families who have been “friends” of Tilikum’s ministry since 1971. Camper and guest fees only provide about 80% of the necessary support for this ministry. Last year about 200 families donated more than $140,000 for both the annual budget and for capital improvement projects. For more details about Tilikum’s Development Program please review the Tilikum Donor Bill of Rights 2014 and Financial Summary 2014. Here are some ways that you can be involved with Tilikum:

Please let us know if you’d like your gift to be designated to a specific project or “where needed most”. Consider making a donation in the following ways:

Tilikum is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt charity and a part of Northwest Yearly Meeting of Friends Churches. All gifts are tax deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Contributions are solicited with the understanding that Tilikum has complete control over the use of all donated funds. Our policy is that all gifts designated for a specific project be applied to that project, with up to 10% percent used for administrative and fundraising expenses. Occasionally we receive more contributions for a given project than can be wisely applied to that project. When that happens, we use these funds to meet a similar need. Tilikum is a member of Christian Camp and Conference Association and accredited by American Camp Association.
