Tilikum Trail Run and Family Fun

Join us for the 13th annual Tilikum Trail Run and help us get every kid to camp. Choose from a competitive 5K race, 5K fun run and 1-mile walk. Bring the whole family and make it a new Fourth of July tradition! 100% of the proceeds and donations go to the camp scholarship fund.
Race Results & Photos
Participants in the competitive 5K and 5K fun run will make three loops on a trail encircling the lake at Tilikum, with sweeping views of the valley. Participants in the 1-mile walk will make one loop around the lake. The path includes gravel roadways, challenging hillsides, grass, and a pedestrian bridge Jogging strollers are welcome. Tilikum is a non-pet facility; please leave your pets at home.
Race awards will be given to the first place finishers in each category: (Race, Fun Run, Walk), gender (Male, Female) and age (Adult, Youth & Teen) categories.
Post Race Activities
Stay after the race to enjoy Tilikum with your family: boat, swim, big swing, scavenger hunt (new for 2016!) and picnic! The grounds are open until 1pm.
Lunch: You can bring your own picnic lunch or purchase a BBQ lunch at the time of registration. For just $5 a person, you will receive a Carlton Farms hamburger, hotdog, or Gardenburger, and salad, a bag of chips and beverage. You can pre-purchase BBQ lunch tickets for race participants and family members. Day of race purchases are also available (checks, cash or Visa/Mastercard are accepted).
Scavenger Hunt (new for 2016!): After the race, youth are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt with “stamping stations” along the trail. Youth can exchange the completed passport for a small gift.
If you register by Friday, June 17, 2016, you will receive a T-shirt & goody bag. Adults are $35 and youth $15 (age 6-17). Kids age 5 and under are FREE with 1 paid adult but must be registered. The fee after 6/18/2016 goes up $10 per person. Day of race registrations ARE accepted (Visa, Mastercard, check or cash are accepted).
We want every child to have the opportunity to come to camp, no matter their socioeconomic status. Please consider creating a Tilikum Trail Run Fundraising Page individually or for your family/team and make a tremendous difference in the life of a child this summer.
Our goal this year is to raise $10,000 in camper scholarships at the Tilikum Trail Run. A team goal of $250 will allow one child to attend a week of day camp this summer. $500 would allow two children to attend day camp this summer. Create your own fundraising page which can be shared on Facebook or in your personal emails.
Day of Race Info
Check-in begins at 9:00AM. The Competitive 5K starts promptly at 10:00AM and the Fun Run and Walk begin at 10:10AM.
What to bring:
- A completed copy of the Tilikum Trail Run Liability Waiver for each participant (required).
- A copy of your registration confirmation (if pre-registered)
- Clothing for swimming and/or boating.
Parking: Parking is limited so carpooling is appreciated.
Personal Items: We’ll have a personal item storage location for you to put your keys and other items while you’re out running or walking.
